Microsoft Power Platform Consulting: Build the tools your team actually needs

No six-month IT project required. Just the apps, automations, and dashboards your business needs, built by people who know the platform inside out.

What's inside Microsoft Power Platform?

Power Platform isn't one tool. It's five that work together. Here's what each one does:

Power Apps — low-code app development

Build a working app for your team — think an inspection checklist, an expense tracker, or a client intake form — without a lengthy custom development cycle. Anyone on your team can create something genuinely useful, and IT can step in for the more complex builds.

Power Automate — workflow automation

The tool that quietly does the boring stuff for you: moving files, sending reminders, syncing data between apps, flagging approvals. It's business process automation without needing a developer on standby. Once it's set up, you stop thinking about it.

Power BI — self-service business intelligence

Pull data from wherever it lives, whether its your CRM, your ERP, a spreadsheet someone's been maintaining for years, and turn it into a dashboard your team can actually act on, not just admire.

Copilot Studio — AI chatbot builder

Build your own AI assistant, trained on your business's information, to answer common questions or handle routine requests, no data science team required. (This was formerly called Power Virtual Agent. Same idea, now supercharged with Copilot.)

Power Pages — external portal software

Need a simple, secure external-facing website or portal for customers, vendors, or members, without building one from scratch? This is the tool for that.

What does it get you?

We won't pretend a single stat tells the whole story, but the case for low-code is strong and well-documented.

Independent research (including Microsoft-commissioned studies by Forrester) has consistently found that organizations using Power Platform see fast payback periods, meaningful cost savings, and, just as important, happier, more capable teams.

Here's what that tends to look like in practice:

Your people become builders. The person who understands the problem best gets to help solve it, not just IT.

Manual work disappears. Automate repetitive processes that eat up your team's time without a drawn-out IT project.

Smarter decisions, faster. AI-assisted tools help your team find and understand information without having to dig through five different systems.

You get more from what you already pay for. If you're on Microsoft 365, much of this is already at your fingertips.

You move faster. Less time waiting on custom development means faster answers to the problems your business actually has.

Power Platform consulting services, from first idea to full rollout

Knowing what Power Platform can do is one thing. Getting it actually working inside your business, safely and without creating a mess down the road, is another. Here's where we typically come in.

Power Platform Consulting

Not sure where to start, or worried about starting in the wrong place? We'll assess your current processes, flag where low-code can realistically save you time and money, and build a practical roadmap, instead of a generic list of what Power Platform can do.

Legacy app and form migration

Still running on InfoPath, old SharePoint forms, Access databases, or homegrown apps nobody wants to touch anymore? We migrate legacy forms and applications into Power Apps, so you keep what works and finally retire what doesn't, without losing your historical data in the process.

Power Platform integration

A tool is only as useful as what it's connected to. We integrate Power Platform with the systems you already run — Dynamics 365, your ERP, your CRM, Microsoft 365, and third-party line-of-business apps — so information moves automatically instead of getting re-typed by hand.

Power Platform licensing guidance

Power Platform licensing isn't always straightforward. Some capabilities come with Microsoft 365, others need premium or per-app plans. We'll help you figure out what you already have, what you actually need, and where you might be paying for more (or less) than you should.

Common questions about Power Platform

What is Microsoft Power Platform? It's a suite of five Microsoft tools — Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages — that let you build apps, automate workflows, visualize data, and create AI assistants without needing a full development team.

Do I need to know how to code to use Power Platform? No. Power Platform is built for "citizen developers", people who understand the business problem, not necessarily people who can write code. That said, more complex builds can still benefit from a developer's help, which is where we come in.

Is Power Platform included with Microsoft 365? Some capabilities are included with many Microsoft 365 plans, while more advanced features (like premium connectors or Dataverse storage) may require additional licensing. We can help you work out exactly what you already have access to.

What's the difference between Power Automate and Power Apps? Power Apps is for building the app or interface people interact with. Power Automate works in the background, moving data and triggering actions between systems — often without any interface at all.

How long does a typical Power Platform project take? It depends on scope. A single automated workflow might take days; a full governed rollout across departments is a longer engagement. We'll give you a realistic timeline on our first call.
