Our whole team works remotely, 9 AM to 5 PM Canadian time, so most of our team bonding happens virtually, but that doesn't make it any less real.

Business Central Consultant
Full-Time | Remote
5+ years of experience, ideally in IT

Know your way around Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central across various functional areas

Have hands-on experience with C/AL, SSRS, and Visual Studio
-
Understand the full software development lifecycle inside and out
-
Communicate clearly and work well with people

Solve problems independently, with strong analytical instincts

Here's what you'll be doing:

Configuring, developing, and delivering Business Central software and components
-
Building and customizing integrations as the business needs them
-
Handling data conversions and troubleshooting system issues
-
Writing T-SQL queries to pull reports
-
Building reports using C/AL, SSRS, and Visual Studio
-
Rolling out service packs and hotfixes when needed
-
Acting as the technical go-to person for business teams needing support
-
Testing what the dev team builds against real business needs
-
Helping guide process changes in line with ERP best practices
-
Leading end-user training and creating documentation and training materials
-
Helping shape functional specs for customizations and NAV implementations
-
Supporting users both before and after go-live
-
Owning your piece of the system's custom programming and functionality

Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and fellow consultants
-
Delivering your work on time and within budget

Documenting all your customizations and integrations clearly
